Confirmation Program

The Confirmation Program consists of a two-year program of study, worship, and service for seventh and eighth grade students.  The curriculum covers an overview of the books of the Bible, Lutheran church history and doctrine, and Luther's Small Catechism, so that a basic knowledge of the Creeds, the Ten Commandments, the Lord's Prayer, and the Sacraments is achieved.

Our students meet on Thursday evenings, September through May.

Time is also spent in a variety of group service projects and fellowship events so that all are reminded that they are an integral part of the Christian community.  They are encouraged to make their faith a part of their day-to-day life.  A highlight each year is the Confirmation class retreat in Wisconsin Dells.

Our confirmation students serve as acolytes at all of our worship services.

The service of Confirmation is held for 8th graders who have completed all the requirements in Spring of each year.
